Galveston County boys basketball players were well represented in the recently released all-district honors, with District 24-3A superlatives going to Hitchcock’s John Scott (most valuable player) and Earnest Triplett (offensive player of the year) and La Marque’s Rha’Sean Booker (defensive player of the year).

A pair of Dickinson players also received superlatives, with Tramon Mark being named District 24-6A’s offensive MVP and Malik Williams earning defensive MVP honors. Clear Springs’ Marcus Williams was newcomer of the year, and Jason Wilson was co-coach of the year with Clear Lake’s Tommy Penders.
