Autumn finally has arrived; however, it likely will be next week before it feels like it. While our summertime fishing patterns are continuing, early next week our first cool front of the season is expected to drop temperatures a bit. This weekend we could see a prefrontal bite take place, as fish react to the upcoming change in conditions.
While not a major cool front, the system should cause fish to react. Flounder could be one of the fish reacting most to the changing conditions and start moving. Definitely, this is not going to start a migration; however, it could result in a more aggressive feeding pattern over the next week or so.
