35 years to reach the limits of out solar system? How long to the next star?
Actually the nearest star is moving away faster than V1 is traveling.
V 1 is 14 light hours from earth, the next star is 40,000 light hours away.
If V 1 were moving 1,000 times as fast (28,000,000 mph) it would only be 14,000 light hours from earth or another 70 years from the next star.

Space Poll

What do you think of the idea to locate a spaceport at Ellington Airport near NASA's Johnson Space Center?

The Houston Airport System proposed building a spaceport at Ellington Field that would serve as a terminal for commercial space tourism, high-speed cargo flights and hubs for commercial space companies and education facilities.
