I have known Craig Brown since I moved to Galveston. He and Angela were our next door neighbors on the West End prior to their moving downtown.

After they moved, I worked with Craig on many projects for Galveston and found him especially helpful as a new board member to the Park Board when I was chair.

He was always respectful and calm and had a way of delivering his message that was always positive. Now wouldn’t those qualities be especially advantageous for a Galveston city councilperson?

Craig, as the present chair of the Park Board, has done an outstanding job for Galveston and the tourism industry. He also serves on the Industial Development Corporation board and the East End Lagoon Nature Preserve Committee and several other boards.

He has supported city park revitalization, Trees on Broadway, the community pool, rebuilding Washington Park, recycling at the beach parks and the Ike Dike study.

He is a retired pediatric dentist and is willing to devote his time to his community on City Council. He will make a wonderful councilperson for District 2. Please vote for Craig. Galveston deserves it.
