I must agree with Nicole Obert's letter ("Editorial didn't produce any facts supporting homework," The Daily News, Sept. 21). When I was in elementary school we did not have homework. That came to us when we entered middle school.
I am a well-educated adult who can think for herself and always did well in school. I can't see what homework does for elementary school children except stress out the family.
They should have time to be children and develop before being saddled with homework.
