What type of representation would Sandra Tetley provide as Galveston Independent School District trustee for District 6-F? Would she have the on-site experience of being in the various schools, for more than 14 years, during the school day, working her way up to leading various PTOs and working with teachers, staff and administrators, understanding their concerns and helping to raise private funding to supplement school activities?

Or would she bring an excellent education in business at both University of Texas (BBA) and University of Houston-Clear Lake (MBA) and over 20 years experience in logistics, real property and management of historic properties (NASA/JSC) while supporting the space program with ever-tightening budgets?

With Sandra Tetley, you get both. Active, informed presence and demonstrated ability to further the mission of GISD — to educate children.

As a taxpayer, you get informed governance, ready to contribute from the first day, and even before that on the GISD board. Sandra Tetley will be working for you, furthering the mission of educating students for the future is her top priority. She also will be fiscally responsible, with an eye to getting more out of shrinking tax dollars.
