On April 27, the Houston Chronicle named the Clear Creek Independent School District the best district in the entire Gulf Coast area.

This is a well-deserved honor and should be celebrated by every student, parent, taxpayer, teacher, administrator and board member in CCISD.

Win Weber, who is running for re-election to the board from District 2, is a critical member of this team and certainly should be elected again to continue her invaluable contributions to the district.

I had the honor of serving with Weber on the board before my retirement and know that she is knowledgeable, studied and resourceful in all her decisions.

She has the rare combination of sensitivity and sensibility in dealing with all issues that concern CCISD.

The adage “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” was never more appropriate, and voters in District 2 should return Weber to the exemplary CCISD board.
