This is about how people do not yield to any emergency vehicle or any public city workers.

Their bad habits on Galveston roads can kill and injure people who do a lot of work to keep Galveston safe such as fire, ambulance, police and the Park Board workers.

I thank God for all those great people who wake up and stay up to take care of us, but my note: If you see them please yield to them. Show respect to them — they take care of us and make Galvestonians like me sleep safe. They are out there doing a great job.

My hats are off to all of them from small jobs to medical, police, fire and those who clean our streets and beaches. Please people yield to them and know they’re doing a great job for us.
