I have known Kitty Allen for over 35 years and urge the voters in Justice of the Peace Position 3 area to vote for her in the Democratic primary. Kitty is a remarkable woman and Galveston County is lucky to have her offering herself for public life.

Kitty has years of experience in volunteering and working in public policy and health care. She has been a leader in the national and state efforts to find a cure for Alzheimer’s disease, a disease that she has had firsthand experience with. Kitty was a director of the sports authority that built the various athletic faculties in the Houston area and has been active in the Texas Association of Business.

Along the way, she was a wife to my personal friend Joe Allen who was a state representative for a number of years, a mother of two wonderful girls and now a grandmother of six young people.

Kitty is not an attorney and being a JP does not require that; almost 93 percent of the JPs in Texas are not lawyers. What Kitty is, is a passionate person with integrity who will preside with justice and fairness.
