I am writing to say thank you to all donors that supported our ninth annual Juneteenth Family Day.

From the Collins family, Stringfellow Orchards and the Hitchcock community, thank you, thank you, thank you.

Our event was a success because of the continued community support.

I do not want to list individual names or companies because I may miss someone.

We received donations ranging in amounts from $10 to $1,000.

However you supported the event, whether through donations, your presence or your prayers, we say thank you.

We even received donations in the mail after the event, and we are very grateful.

Mark your calendars now for the 10th annual Juneteenth Family Day set for June 13, 2015.

We will host our event early next year so that we can all be in Galveston on June 19, 2015.
