David Campbell wrote a letter about a serious malfunction about our local post office ("We need help getting our mail," The Daily News, Jan. 18). In October, I put in a change of address. In December, I received a bundle of mail, including bills and checks. It had been placed on hold. I went to see the postmaster, who would not see me. I waited over a hour.
I contacted Congressman Randy Weber, not knowing who the postmaster reports to. No intervention from his office either.
This is serious. It cost me in late fees and deposits. Who is responsible? What recourse do we have?
