After reading the column by the three stooges about the wealthy not needing to pay their fair share of taxes (“Taxing the wealthy affects all of us,” The Daily News, March 3), I’d say, at best, it was very misleading.

Under the Constitution, everyone should be treated equally.

The “Musketeers” apparently think if we want a new car we should pay for it with our substandard wages, but the wealthy should be able to write theirs off as a business expense and let the workingman pay for it, too.

Americans work for substandard wages while helping to pay taxes for the wealthy.

The American people are wising up to the fact tax breaks for the wealthy do not keep our economy going — it’s the middle class, buying the products they helped create.

They return their wages to the economy every payday and that is what keeps our economy healthy.

The wealthy should pay their fair share of taxes, and workers should get a fair wage.

Let them know that if they want to send our jobs overseas we will boycott their products, leaving the market wide open for new businesses to make their products (Made in America by Americans).

You will see the economy grow.
