We have now had several people who promoted impeachment of our president — who just happens to be black, is allegedly a socialist and brought us a new health care law for all that was previously advocated by conservative politicians and whose Internal Revenue Service department targeted right-wing tax exempt groups as well as liberal ones.

The enemies of these impeachers often are blacks and Hispanics (by promoting policies that disenfranchise them), the poor (promoting cuts for food stamps and Medicaid), the elderly (promoting Social Security and Medicare privatization), women (vaginal sonograms, etc.), teachers (trying to get rid of public education), scientists (e.g., fighting the consensus on human causes of global change and the theory of evolution), blaming all of them for our economic problems.

Where were these people screaming for impeachment of the former president, who was invading other countries under false pretenses and brought on the biggest economic crisis since The Great Depression through his policies, etc.?

Galveston is lucky, thanks to the (socialist) federal government, which helps us rebuild public and private infrastructure (once people stop fighting public housing) because we had major damage after Hurricane Ike. So, who is the enemy?
