The Daily News asked readers what questions they’d ask candidates for Galveston City Council. Some of those questions will be asked at a forum Wednesday at Ball High School. Others will be included in a questionnaire.

1. In what business or occupation in the city or county of Galveston are you involved either actively or through investment? Does it influence your views on issues or have the appearance of impropriety?

2. In your opinion, what are the top two priorities for the city of Galveston?

I am President of Investment Performance LLC. We analyze retail investment portfolios. I have been an investment professional for about 20 years working in Chicago, London, DC.... My knowledge base and skill set influences my views on financial projections and the assumptions made in those projections. Other than that my influences are made up of, as you might expect, my life experiences...

2. In your opinion, what are the top two priorities for the city of Galveston?

1. Finishing our hurricane recovery
2. Attracting middle-income families to the island to live
3. Port investment

Good responses Norman. And thank you for adding that third priority; I certainly agree with all three of them.
