The Friends of Galveston Island State Park would like to invite you to spend the day with us this Saturday. The event is free, and no day fees are being charged at the park. Planned activities include beach and bay walks, kayak safety, learning how to cast, sea turtle obstacle course, sand crab craft tables and more.

Our volunteers and park staff are ready and can’t wait to provide you a taste of what the park has to offer. Experience the magic and fun that can be found at the park’s beach, bay and coastal prairie areas. Come out and see what the bees are buzzing about in their hive at our Nature Learning Center.

Galveston Island Park is the place to be especially this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. To learn more, visit the Friends of Galveston Island State Park’s Facebook page at
