At the heart of every Texan is a strong work ethic, desire for independence, self-reliance, and helping neighbors in need. The Republican Party supports those same beliefs. In the upcoming election we will be choosing a party chair to lead us for the next two years.

We need a strong, experienced, and dedicated leader with vision for a better tomorrow for all Galveston County residents. Someone whose core values are unshakeable, but at the same time, open-minded enough to listen to all sides. Dr. Yolanda Waters is that person.

Yolanda served as president of the Galveston Republican Women and is a past board member of the Family Service Center of Galveston. She has generously sponsored the Galveston Rodeo, Salvation Army of Galveston and is a Bayou Vista police and fire supporter.

Yolanda married Alan Waters more than 25 years ago, and is the chief executive officer of Houston Modular Services, the family business Yolanda and Alan started.

Yolanda’s core values are exemplified by her dedication to education, self-reliance, community service and family.

Please join me and vote to elect my friend as the Galveston County Republican Party chair. Early voting is from Feb. 20 through March 2. Election Day is March 6.
