A sexual predator isn’t just that creepy guy whose photo you see on a page in the back of the newspaper, or whose address you find when you check for sex offenders in your area.
He can be a smiling face on any page of the paper. He can live respectably next door.
Sexual predators are members of our community. Sexual predators are our neighbors, our friends, our family. They are the wealthy and powerful. They are businessmen, coaches, teachers, scout leaders and men of God. They are workers and managers.
A man can be a “pillar of society” and a sexual predator. A man can be a “good family man” and a sexual predator. A man can be a “really great guy” and a sexual predator.
It is not a choice between “either” and “or.” It is the reality of “and” and “both.”
