If things are that bad in Central America then the United States should send troops to overthrow those Central American Governments like we sent troops to fight the Nazis. Jaclyn Low, you brought up the analogy, are you willing to go there?

Is it even possible that people who can't even afford to keep themselves alive will ever, ever, stop having as many kids as they can possibly churn out?
No, in such countries as we are dealing with in this latest mess, I suppose it's not.

With all due respect to Carlos. Thank you for proving the point of not paying attention or reading what you want into what someone said as opposed to what they wrote. You are a perfect example of the problem with the situation. No one said invade central America except you. It was a comparison and a very good one. Just a thought do you understand why " we sent troops to fight the Nazis". Think it through now before you answer. SMH My goodness.

Jaclyn Low made the comparison of the current situation to that of 1930s and 1940s Europe so I extrapolated to the solution provided by FDR back then. It was HER analogy, not mine. Her comparison was way off base, not similar at all. If you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen.

I will try this one last time. Carlos, she is discussing what would cause a parent to send their children to an unknown country. She was not discussing a war as you "extrapolated". You might want to get your "extrapolator" fixed because it missed the target by far
