When my son started kindergarten in Galveston ISD 12 years ago, I noticed a woman who was around the school all the time volunteering for everything from PTO, to the carnival, to art enrichment and even coordinated Snow Day bringing snow to the school. When we got to middle school, she was there again working in the school on PTO and Booster Club. I was completely amazed by this woman.

When my son got to Ball High School, I finally got to work with this dynamo on the Booster Club and realized how much she cares for our children. It was Sandra Tetley. She works full-time in Clear Lake, but still makes time to be at the schools, support the teachers, raise money for things the school district doesn’t supply, and does many things to support the teachers and students.

She truly cares about the district and wants to see our children succeed. It’s quite easy to donate money for functions, etc., but to me, someone that so eagerly gives of their time down in the trenches is at a much higher level. That person is Sandra Tetley. I know Sandra Tetley will make a wonderful school board member!
