    Clearly, you have no idea about rigs and red snapper. They are homes to millions of red snapper. Go diving around one before you issue a environmemtal wacko statement that is completely false.

    If Shrimpers are getting caught up on these sunken rigs, then they are not equipped with current nautical charts. Each rig is added as an update thru an notice to mariners broadcast and mail out. Then the chart for that area is updated. Having visited many of these sites, my observation is that marine life is abundant. Strict rules and inspections are conducted to insure the rig is contamanant free and environmentally safe.
