If Friday’s taste of spring weather has you thinking about a little yard work, don’t miss the 26th annual Galveston Home & Garden Show.

Whether you want to ask an expert about tomatoes or explore the possibilities of keeping chickens in the backyard, this is the place to go.

If you’ve got a dog that needs a little behavioral modification, don’t miss the demonstration by Trelle Dandridge and Heather Leeson.

There are many reasons to go. The most important is that it benefits the Galveston Island Humane Society. That’s a cause worth supporting.
