As husband, Dad, Papa, Coach, and friend, Chuck will be greatly missed. For all the times he made us laugh, made us feel special, and brought out the best in us by expecting nothing less, we are grateful and thank God for allowing us to share his life.

In lieu of flowers, friends may make memorial gifts to the Chuck Young Memorial Scholarship Fund; A-Med Hospice; or the Alzheimers Association.

Celebration of Life Funeral Services will be held 1:00 pm Friday, November 3, 2017 at Carnes Funeral Home-Texas City followed by interment at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster.

“Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you.

I LOVED knowing and working with Chuck at TCHS. He was a delight know, and he had a great sense of humor. He made a powerful impact on all the countless lives he touched. He will be dearly missed. I will be out of town, or I would certainly be there to honor his life. My thoughts and sympathies are with his family. Linda (and Ralph) Holm.
