Mabel D. Harrison, 95, of Hitchcock, Texas, departed this earthly life on Monday, February 5, 2018, in Texas City, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Lake Charles, LA, on June 26, 1922, to the late Julian and Julia Duhon, Mrs. Harrison was a homemaker and a devoted member of Wilbur Chapel UMC in Hitchcock, Texas.

Mabel was preceded in death by her parents, 8 siblings, 3 children, and her husband, Ernest Harrison, Sr.

She is survived by her children, Barbara Allison, Kenneth Harrison, Karen (Lawrence) Werdlow, and Ralph (Chandra) Harrison & Cassandra (George) Littleton.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018, at 2:00 p.m., at Greater St Matthews Baptist Church in Hitchcock, Texas. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018, from 6:00 — 8:00 p.m. at Mainland Funeral Home in La Marque, Texas.
