On Saturday, March 3, 2018, our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Henry F. Collins entered into eternal rest, surrounded by his loving family.

Henry was born on January 4, 1935, in Galveston to Imelda Trahan and Wesley Collins He was a 1953 graduate of Central High School, and a 1957 graduate of Prairie View A&M University. Henry also served his country in the U.S. Army and worked at the Falstaff Brewery, Lipton Tea Co. and retired from the City of Galveston. He was a loyal and dedicated member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church where he served in many ministries.

He was preceded in death by his parents and step father, Willard Haynes, Sr. Left to cherish memories is his devoted wife, Marie Collins; sons, Clifford and Anthony Collins; daughter-in-law, Veronica Collins; grandchildren, Adriel and Cardell Collins, Tia Marie Babbs , and Rianada Fontenette; and 11 great-grand children whom he loved dearly.

A visitation will begin at 9:00 AM followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 10th at Queen of Peach Catholic Church, 1200 Cedar Drive, La Marque, TX with Father Chacko Puthumayil officiating. Burial will follow at Mt Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Dickinson.
