Mrs. Charlotte Sue Creekmore passed from this life Tuesday evening, May 16, 2017, in Texas City.

Born September 20, 1941 in Kingsport, Tennessee, Mrs. Creekmore had been a resident of Galveston County since 1998, previously of Arkansas. She had owned and operated several service stations through the years and enjoyed watching TV, cooking and working jigsaw puzzles, especially those by Charles Wysocki.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John William and Rosa Lee (Hutchins) Byers; husband, James Calvin Creekmore; sisters, Minnie Baker and Johnette Byers; brother, Gary Gregory.

Survivors include daughters, Lisa Lee Holloman and husband, Ken of Arkansas, Stacey Ann Taylor and husband, David of Arkansas, Vicky Lynn Norwood and husband, David of Bacliff; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; nephew, Joe David Gonzalez.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery, with Pastor John Newton officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
