Police Officer James T. “ Turon ” Wilson, 38, of Dickinson, Texas passed away on (Saturday), March 3, 2018 at Clear Lake Regional Hospital in Webster, Texas. He joined the Houston Police Department on June 4, 2001, Academy Class # 179. During his career with the department, he was assigned to the South Central Division, Jail Division and South Gessner Division.

He attended public schools in Houston and graduated from Jack Yates High School in 1997. After high school James attended Blinn College on a football Scholarship.

Those left to cherish his memory are parents James and Gisele Wilson; daughter, Jaleigh; two brothers, Jason (Tabatha) Wilson and Justin (Sheena) Wilson all of Dickinson, TX; one sister, Ne’Osha Dartez of Baton Rouge, LA,: grandmother, Audrey J. Hill of Dickinson, TX; his Houston Police Department Family and a host of other loving relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 9-10:55 a.m., Funeral at 11:00 a.m. both services will be held at Greater St. Matthew Baptist Church, 7701 Jutland, Houston, Texas, 77033, Dr. Gusta Booker, Senior Pastor and Rev.
