CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — The speculation over how high quarterback Josh Allen will be drafted has brought dividends to the Wyoming athletics program.

Cowboys coach Craig Bohl says Allen has brought great exposure to the Wyoming athletics.

Many NFL Draft analysts have Allen being drafted in the first round with some predicting he could go No. 1.

Allen has the interest of NLF scouts because of his size and strong arm and the fact that he played in pro-style offense under Bohl.

While Wyoming enjoys the dividends of Allen's draft speculation, Bohl will be turning his attention to filling Allen's spot on the roster.

Bohl is declining to name a starting quarterback, saying there will be open competition for the position this spring.
