TEXAS CITY — Police reported confiscating more than 60 grams of powder and crack cocaine, a pistol and three grams of marijuana from a Texas City apartment late Thursday.

The Texas City Police Crime Unit arrested Gregory Charles Hurst Jr., 33, at his apartment in the 3400 block of Ninth Avenue after entering the residence with a search warrant shortly before 9 p.m., according to a news release from police.

Hurst was charged with the manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance and for being a felon in the possession of a firearm. He was booked into the Galveston County Jail on bonds totaling $350,000.
