SANTA FE — Police on Thursday arrested two people on warrants, claiming they were fugitives and apparently sleeping in a storage unit.

Bond was denied for Gladdin Presley, 33, of Holiday Lakes and Lisa R. Evans, 23, of Longview. Both were wanted on first-degree felony warrants of engaging in organized crime from the Diboll Police Department, Santa Fe police Capt. Wayne Kessler said in a statement.

Officers were called at 6:52 a.m. to Santa Fe Storage, 15422 state Highway 6, after someone reported people were apparently sleeping in a unit. Police arrested them without incident. They were in Santa Fe since May, visiting relatives, Kessler said.
