LEAGUE CITY — A 20-year-old League City woman remained unconscious in the hospital after being involved in a head-on collision Saturday in League City.
Police said the woman was driving a Volkswagen sedan in the 3000 block of East FM 646 about 9 a.m. when she struck a bicyclist.
The driver then overcorrected and swerved into oncoming traffic, where her car was struck.
The woman, whose name was not available from police Sunday, was taken via LifeFlight to Memorial Hermann hospital. Police said she suffered multiple skull fractures.
Police said alcohol may have been a factor in the incident.
