FRIENDSWOOD — Burglars struck three homes in the Autumn Creek neighborhood of Friendswood in the last week, police said.

Officers responding to a burglar alarm in the 2800 block of Burr Oak Drive on Friday found the front door open and a glass back door shattered at the house.

Homeowners told officers a small empty safe had been stolen, according to a Friendswood police news release.

A resident in the 3300 block of Prince George came home Monday to find a similar scene, with his front door open and broken glass at the back of the house. Jewelry, electronics and other valuables were stolen from the home, police said.

A home in the 3500 block of Cortona Lane was also burglarized Monday, police said.
