GALVESTON — Police are investigating a reported stabbing that took place at Farb’s Liquors on Saturday evening.

At about 7 p.m., police received a report from a house on the 4900 block of Sealy Street.

When they arrived, they found the occupant of the house with the victim, who had managed travel there from the liquor store, a distance of about seven blocks.

The victim was transported to the University of Texas Medical Branch. His condition was not immediately known.

The police then were directed to the liquor store at the corner of Broadway and 43rd Street. A spokesperson said last night that the details of the incident were still unclear, and as of 8 p.m. last night, no one had been arrested.

The spokesperson said three witnesses had been located and were brought to the police station for questioning.

One vehicle, a black Chevrolet sports car, was towed from the scene.

The investigation is ongoing, and no suspects have been named.
