HITCHCOCK — Friends of a Hitchcock man who was struck and killed by a vehicle while jogging alongside FM 2004 on Saturday have set up a fund for funeral expenses and to support the man’s family.

Roger Yarn, 44, is survived by his wife and six children, four of whom still live at home, a friend of the family said Tuesday.

Yarn worked at the Classic Automobile Dealerships in Galveston, and loved spending time with his family, according to the memorial fund set up in his name.

Thank you for posting this Alex. I would add that the children living at home have been home-schooled by Roger's wife. Consequently, Roger's work served as the family's sole source of income. Anything folks can do to help this terrific family out would be greatly appreciated.
