LEAGUE CITY —  If you happened to stop into the South Shore Shell station and purchased a Lotto Texas ticket on Jan. 1, check your wallet. Check your glove compartment and check your junk drawer, too.

You could have a lottery ticket that’s worth $12 million.

Texas Lottery officials said that whomever purchased the winning ticket for the Jan. 1 lottery drawing has yet to claim the prize.

The winning ticket must be claimed by Monday or the prize money will be forfeited.

If you do have a Lotto Texas ticket for the Jan. 1 drawing and remember buying the ticket at the Shell at 3390 FM 518 in League City, check and see if the numbers on the ticket are 15-17-43-45-47-50.

If so, take a breath and then get a hold of Texas Lottery officials.

Whoever purchased the ticket asked for a Quick Pick and the cash value option. The cash value option on the ticket is $7.562 million, officials said.

Winners have 180 days from the date of a drawing to claim their prize. Unclaimed prize money reverts back to the state.
