LEAGUE CITY — The first in a series of monthly City Hall in the Park sessions is scheduled for Thursday.

The brainchild of new City Manager Mark Rohr, the informal gatherings are supposed to give residents a chance for one-on-one time with city staff or elected officials.

Rohr said no topic is off limits, and there won’t be an agenda.

The meetings will rotate through facilities throughout the city. Thursday’s meeting will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Countryside Park pavilion, 100 Alderwood and 501 N. Bay Area Blvd.

Meetings will follow at League Park, Hometown Heroes Park and Magnolia Creek.

The parks were selected to make it more convenient for residents near those areas to attend. The meetings are open to anyone.
