GALVESTON — Police on Friday arrested a man they say dealt methamphetamine on the island.

Noah Reznikoff, 38, was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and booked into the Galveston County Jail on $10,000 bond.

According to Galveston police, officers with the department’s vice and narcotics division arrested Reznikoff near 39th Street and Avenue J after finding 2 grams of methamphetamines in his vehicle.

Police had been investigating Reznikoff for a long time, according to a statement from the police department.

“Methamphetamines ... have become an increasing problem on the island within the last year,” the statement said.

That same day, police arrested two people in a house in the 1500 block of 35th Street for possession of methamphetamines as well.

Cecil Walker, 46, was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to manufacture and deliver. Jennifer Adrian, 28, was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
