The Santa Fe Fire Department spent Tuesday afternoon battling a trailer home fire on Highland Road.

The fire department received a call at about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday about a fire in the 5200 block of Highland Road, Fire Chief Tommy Anderson said.

Firefighters had put out the blaze by about 3:20 p.m., but were still at work in the area late Tuesday, Anderson said.

No injuries were reported and officials weren’t sure late Tuesday whether anyone had been home when the fire began, Anderson said.

The cause of the fire was not immediately determined.
