A person was killed  Monday night in a motorcycle crash on Fourth Street in Santa Fe.

Emergency responders were called to the 12000 block of Fourth Street about a motorcycle crash at 10:58 p.m., police said in a press release.

When police and medical personnel arrived, they found a single motorcycle rider. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

The rider crashed after failing to negotiate a right turn and losing control of his motorcycle, police sad.

The rider's identity was not released, as police were still notifying next of kin.
