An argument between two women over a crack dealer led to a fight involving a Taser and brass knuckles and ended with a woman in jail, police said.
Police were called Tuesday to the 900 block of FM 517 in reference to a disturbance, according to an affidavit from the League City Police Department.
When they arrived, a woman told officers she had gotten into an argument with her fiancee, according to the affidavit. The woman said her fiancee had accused her of cheating on her with a crack dealer, according to the affidavit.
The argument escalated when the fiancee took out a Taser and shocked the woman twice with it, according to the affidavit. The fiancee then reached into a purse and took out brass knuckles, according to the affidavit.
She hit the woman in the right ear, according to the affidavit.
When questioned, the fiancee denied that she owned brass knuckles, according to the affidavit. But when searching a purse for car keys — at the fiancee’s request — officers found brass knuckles inside the purse, according to the affidavit.
Linda Boesch, 47, of Dickinson, was arrested Tuesday and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Her bond was set at $40,000, according to court records. She was still in custody at the Galveston County jail Wednesday afternoon.
