Two people were arrested and face felony drug charges after they were accused of having more than 50 grams of synthetic cannabis in a Texas City trailer park.

Around 10 a.m. Thursday, officers from the Texas City Police Department, the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshal’s office served a search warrant at a trailer park in the 4200 block of 20th Street North in Texas City.

The trailer was the subject of a drug investigation after the police department received complaints from residents, according to a press release.

Two people were found inside the trailer, along with nearly 60 grams of synthetic cannabis and 0.3 grams of cocaine, a handgun and a shotgun.

Brandon Lee O’Connor and Ashley Cruz were both arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.

They were held on $60,000 bond each at the Galveston County jail, according to the press release.
