Kathy Jo Havard, 52, was charged last week with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after her 16-year-old daughter told officers Havard threatened to kill her and fired a gun at her.

Officers responded to a shots fired report at 10:23 p.m. from the 5400 block of Timpani Drive.

Friendswood officers said they suspect two shots were fired, according to a police report.

A negotiator called the residence and talked Havard into surrendering, officer Lisa Price said.

Two knives and a gun were taken from the house, according to police.

Havard was free from the Harris County Jail on $30,000 bond, according to police.
