Friendswood police had one person in custody and were searching for two or three other burglars Wednesday morning, according to a news release.

A burglary in the 400 block of East Parkwood Ave. was reported about 5:15 a.m., police said.

A tracking dog was searching along the banks of Clear Creek near FM 528 and police have an increased presence in the area.

Police were asking residents to call if they saw anything suspicious in the area.

This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
