A Santa Fe man was arrested Monday on allegations he threatened his friend with a gun in early December.
Santa Fe Police were called Dec. 9, 2017, to the 12400 block of FM 1764 to a report of an assault, according to a probable cause affidavit.
The victim told officers that another man — who he identified as a friend — had come to his house, broke the driver's side window of his vehicle with a hammer and pointed a gun at him, according to the affidavit.
During the attack, the man was yelling "this is how we are ending our friendship?" the victim said, according to the affidavit.
The victim noticed an orange cap on the tip of the gun, and called the man's bluff, according to the affidavit. The man then left the scene, according to the affidavit.
Caleb Allen was arrested Monday and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
He was held on $40,000 bond and was still in the Galveston County jail on Thursday morning, according to jail records.
The affidavit doesn't make clear whether the gun was real or not.
