I am suspicious of "unidentified foreign investors" - too many money laundering opportunities for one thing!

I agree with your concerns, but I guess we have to trust Homeland Security on vetting these guys before approving the EB-5.
"Galveston County Judge Mark Henry asked the city in July for its official OK on a federal EB-5 application to the Department of Homeland Security related to the development. The city gave the OK on Aug. 22."

Why isn't the investor identified? What if it's someone that is not welcome in this country? Could be the rules of this EB-5 have not kept up with the terror incidents that have been happening, and I can't exactly accept all the decisions of Homeland Security. More sunlight on this please!
