Texas City hosted the annual Christmas parade with an “I’ll Be Home For Christmas” theme on Thursday evening. The parade took over Palmer Highway from city hall to the Showboat Pavilion. Spectators lined the street waiting to receive candy and hear holiday tunes. Floats representing various groups and communities showcased artistic, seasonal décor with awards at the end of the event.
