OSHA not releasing information on workplace fatality, serious injury

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration will not provide information about the death of a Marathon Petroleum Corp. contract employee until the agency’s investigation is complete, which could take up to six months, a spokesman said.

The administration also will not release information about a Marathon employee who was critically injured and airlifted to John Sealy Hospital in August after being exposed to a dangerous chemical, spokesman Juan Rodriguez said.
