A Friendswood man was arrested July 10 and charged with two counts of burglary of a motor vehicle, police said.

Friendswood police responded to a vehicle burglary report in the 5400 block of Timpani Drive at 8:52 a.m. July 10.

A wallet and cash were taken from an unlocked vehicle, police said.

A witness in the 16400 block of Hibiscus Lane reported a suspicious male opening unlocked car doors, police said.

Police found the suspect at Apple Blossom Lane and Paint Rock Road and took him into custody, officials said.

Estevon Roman Corona, 21, of Friendswood, was in possession of the stolen wallet, police said.

Corona was charged with two counts of burglary of a motor vehicle. Corona is now serving two concurrent 180-day sentences in the Harris County jail.
