The Friends of Moody Gardens hosted its sixth annual Gulf Coast Herb Fair at the visitors center at Moody Gardens on Wednesday.

From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., people were invited to peruse various vendors for herbs, handcrafted items and other organic materials. There were three cooking demonstrations and a presentation on growing hops, which is the herb of the year.
