The University of Houston-Clear Lake will have its annual #GivingTuesday event from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. today in Atrium I in the Bayou Building on its campus, 2700 Bay Area Blvd.

Proceeds will go toward scholarships and other programs at the school.

Gordon Change, an East Asian affairs expert, will speak on the current North Korea crisis at 12:30 p.m. today in the Learning Resource Center Auditorium at College of the Mainland, 1200 Amburn Road.

The event is apart of the school’s International Speaker Series.
