• 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. — Story time: Engaging program featuring books, puppets, music and movement. For young children and their caregivers.

Galveston Reads will have its professor’s panel discussion at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Seibel Wing of Galveston College, 4015 Ave. Q.

Dr. Shane Wallace, an English professor at the college will be the moderator.
